Made to receive meditation retreats with master Vasant Swaha, the Temple is also the space for the meditations and body activities we share with our guests. It also receives artistic performances, workshops and vivencias.

We are incorporated into Barra de Ibiraquera’s nature, surrounded by the beauty of the lagoon, the mountains and the sea. We live integrated in this environment, trying to cause the least impact possible on it. That is why we use reforestation wood, we separate and make compost out of our organic residues, we keep a small orchard and treat the waste water of the guest house.

The diversity of landscapes is what makes those who come here say Barra de Ibiraquera is paradise. Beaches, island and cliffs, sandy coastal plains, dunes and the lagoon surrounded by the Atlantic rainforest. This richness of ecosystems shelters a great amount of fish and bird species, as well as the right whales from July to November.
The waves and the wind make Barra a perfect beach for sports such as surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing, and the lagoon is the favorite place for families with children.
